Gingerbread is believed to have first been baked in Europe at the close of the 11th century. During the 1600s Nuremberg was considered to be the "gingerbread capital of the world" . It was said that Queen Elizabeth I would have bakers shape gingerbread into the likenesses of members of her court.
Gingerbread houses are fun to decorate during the holiday season. My gingerbread soap resembles a slice of warm gingerbread topped with a layer of whipped cream.
Ingredients: Coconut oil, sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, water, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, cocoa butter, fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
