Elizabeth Jaikaran (1990- ) is a lawyer and author of Guyanese heritage. Her book "Trauma" was published in 2017 and won the Royal Dragonfly Book Award. Her literary contributions focus on the Indo-Caribbean experience in the diaspora.
Bay Rum is a distillate that originated in the West Indies, and was first made with rum and the leaves of the West Indian bay tree.
