Noble Soaps for Noble Hearts

Luz Vanilla Soap

$6.75

Luz Jiménez (1897-1965) was a Nahua artist model, storyteller and linguistic informant from Milpa Alta. She posed for Diego Rivera, and in 1942 she began working at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking in Frida Kahlo's classes.

Pre-Columbian Mesoamericans cultivated the vine of the vanilla orchid. This soap is shaped to resemble the dahlia, which is the national flower of Mexico.

Net wt.: 3.5oz/100g

Ingredients: Coconut oil, sunflower oil, water, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, cocoa butter, fragrance oil.

My soaps are handmade, which means that each one is unique and varies depending on the batch. I recommend you drain out any soap dish you use to avoid your soap dissolving faster. Any handmade cold process soap should be stored in a dry area.
