Roscinda Black Cherry Soap
Roscinda Nolasquez (1892-1987) was a Cupeño, and the last speaker of the Cupeño language. She didn't speak English until her early teens. She worked with linguists to edit a collection of Cupeño-English oral histories.
Black cherries grow abundantly in North America and are closely related to the chokecherry.
The creation of this soap is inspired by the sunflower, which is native to North America. It contains sunflower oil, and is shaped to resemble the sunflower.

My soaps are handmade, which means that each one is unique and varies depending on the batch. I recommend you drain out any soap dish you use to avoid your soap dissolving faster. Any handmade cold process soap should be stored in a dry area.
