Maude Sweetgrass Soap
Maude Kegg (1904-1996) was an Ojibwe writer, folk artist and cultural interpreter. She worked as a guide for Trading Post and Museum (now a part of the Minnesota Historical Society). In 1990 she was awarded a National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment of the Arts in recognition of her efforts to preserve the Ojibwe culture.
Sweetgrass is a sacred grass of indigenous peoples of North America (Turtle Island).
The creation of this soap is inspired by the sunflower, which is native to North America. It contains sunflower oil, and is shaped to resemble the sunflower.

Ingredients: Coconut oil, sunflower oil, water, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, jojoba oil, fragrance oil.
My soaps are handmade, which means that each one is unique and varies depending on the batch. I recommend you drain out any soap dish you use to avoid your soap dissolving faster. Any handmade cold process soap should be stored in a dry area.
