Gladys Huckleberry Soap
Gladys Tantaquidgeon (1899-2005) was a Mohegan medicine woman, anthropologist, author, tribal council member, and elder. For over a decade, she worked with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and was a founder of the Tantaquidgeon Indian Museum, created in 1931.
Huckleberry is native to North America. Indigenous peoples have traditionally used them as medicine and food.
The creation of this soap is inspired by the sunflower, which is native to North America. It contains sunflower oil, and is shaped to resemble the sunflower.
Net wt.: 3.5oz/100g
Ingredients: Coconut oil, sunflower oil, water, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, jojoba oil, fragrance oil, alkanet root powder.
My soaps are handmade, which means that each one is unique and varies depending on the batch. I recommend you drain out any soap dish you use to avoid your soap dissolving faster. Any handmade cold process soap should be stored in a dry area.
